The State of Pennsylvania is in he midst of giving serious consideration to how it can change its laws concerning access to alcohol. The state of Pennsylvania is the only retailer of wine in the state. One must go to wine stores run by the state to pick up your bottle of Cab, Pinot, Chard or any other wine you want. This is bad for competition, selection and pricing. Additionally, residents of PA can’t purchase and have wine sent to them from out of state wine store and out of sate wineries. This too may change this year.
